Several traffic accidents have been recorded in the past few days on the “Ain Al-Boujamaa” detour, located between the towns of Hawaij Al-Budiab and Ayash, west of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter said that the residents of the western countryside appealed to the concerned authorities to repair the bridge located in the mentioned area, which is responsible for those accidents, the last of which occurred last week.
Many road bridges in Deir Ezzor were previously bombed, but the defunct Assad regime did not repair those roads well.
It is noteworthy that the “Ain Al-Boujamaa” detour bridge was previously subjected to airstrikes by the international coalition, and it was maintained in a primitive manner by officials of the Assad regime by placing an earthen dam on the valley without placing pipes to drain the water during rain or floods, which led to its damage and became a danger to travelers.
