The alleged settlements in the city of Al-Bukamal, carried out by Assad’s forces with Russian support, will end within hours. However, settlements will be relaunched in the city of the Mayadeen under the pretext of the great turnout in the eastern countryside for the settlements.
According to the statistics of the Reconciliation Center, the total of those who made settlements throughout Deir Ezzor amounted to 14,500, most of them in the areas of Assad’s control. The operation was aimed at attracting the residents of the areas controlled by the “SDF”, whose number did not exceed 1,000, according to the Center’s leaks.
