The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection seized a number of bags of subsidized food flour that were prepared for sale in one of the markets in Mansoura, as part of its ongoing monitoring campaigns to combat violations and protect subsidized materials.
The Directorate explained that subsidized food flour is intended exclusively for bread production in licensed bakeries, and it is prohibited to sell it or dispose of it outside the intended purpose, as this would violate regulations and instructions, in addition to its impact on the subsidized material reaching those who deserve it.
The Directorate explained that they had organized the necessary arrest of the violator and taken legal measures against him in accordance with the applicable regulations, stressing the continuation of their monitoring campaigns to control any violations related to subsidized materials.
The Directorate called on citizens to report any cases of trafficking in or misuse of food flour, in a way that contributes to protecting public funds and ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it.
