The SDF’s drilling machinery has returned to complete the excavation and construction of the tunnel adjacent to the railway that separates it from the areas controlled by Assad’s forces, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the tunnel will extend from the outskirts of the town of Al-Tabiyah Jazirah eastward towards Khasham, and these vehicles (the early ones) were accompanied by an engineering team working to comb the path of the vehicles along with another armed group raising the yellow flags of SDF on the metal electricity towers adjacent to the railway.
The tunnel project, which was launched by the SDF at the beginning of the year, had been halted for unknown reasons, but it resumed its completion a few days ago, with the outbreak of demonstrations in the western countryside and the threats of the Assad regime to enter the region.
