The Russian military police, along with the Military Security Detachment, arrested two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in the Hatla al-Sharqiya neighborhood, northeast of Deir Ezzor, last night, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the two members were arrested, accompanied by a missile launcher that was prepared to target the American base near the Conoco plant northeast of Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that the area east of the Euphrates is under the control of the Russian First Division, represented by the Syrian Fifth Corps, and it prevents the presence of Iranian bases in the seven villages according to a previous agreement with the coalition, with the exception of civil and religious centers such as hospitals and cultural centers.
