Russian-backed fifth corp are on a state of alert in the north of Deir Ezzor

Great alert for the Russian-backed Fifth Corps on the lines of the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, extending from the town of Al-Tabiyah in the east to Al-Husseiniyah in the west, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the mobilization was accompanied by setting up showers and digging new trenches, appointing a new commander for the brigade deployed in the seven villages, Brigadier General “Kumait”, making extensive tours of all points, stopping officers’ overnight stays, stopping vacations, and distributing additional ammunition without bringing in additional heavy weapons.
The Fifth Corps’ alert in the region comes with Russian harassment of American drones and French fighters in the Syrian territories, during the past two days, which has angered the American and French military leaderships.
