Last week, Daesh released a video titled “Those Are My Fathers” showing the brutal execution of four civilians from Deir Ezzor at the hands of 4 Daesh fighters from the eastern region.

Private sources revealed to D24 the identity of one of those four executioners. His name is Khalaf Ghalab Abu Salheh from the Markdaha town in rural Al-Hasakah. He was among the first to pledge allegiance to the Nusra Front, and after the capturing of the region by Daesh, he switched his allegiance and joined the organization. His son, who was a Daesh military commander, was killed while fighting alongside the group.

Both, the executioners and the executed, belong to some tribes in the region, meaning that we would see cases of revenge between the tribes sooner or later.

D24 is also working on revealing the identities of the other criminals who have spilled the blood of the people of Deir Ezzor in order to help the organization to dominate over the province.
