The 4th Division of Assad’s forces sent military reinforcements to the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, including about 500 personnel, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that all of the volunteers who were sent by the Fourth Division to Albu Kamal were the ones who underwent settlement operations.
He added that the division will distribute the recruits who have recently arrived in Al-Bukamal within the area extending from the town of Al-Salihiya, west of the city of Al-Bukamal, all the way to the Syrian-Iraqi border, and to headquarters scattered in the desert.
These reinforcements arrived after armed clashes took place between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia and groups belonging to the Fourth Division, as a result of which an officer in the fourth ranks was killed and two wounded in the ranks of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia.
