DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Buses carrying Iraqi pilgrims entered Syria through the al-Qaim gate in the Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, after the end of the blessed Eid al-Adha period, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.

Our correspondent said that most of the buses enter at night in groups (more than 5 buses) and do not go to the international road as it was in the past for fear of attacks targeting them, but rather take the public road within villages and towns.

Visitors of both Iranian and Iraqi nationalities visit Syria from time to time for pilgrimage to holy sites according to the Shiite sect.
