In recent times, people in Al-Bukamal city, east of Deir Ezzor have abandoned buying eggs, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.

According to him, the residents of Al-Bukamal have stopped buying eggs due to their high prices. Some traders Iran-affiliated militia commanders are in charge of smugling Iranian eggs to Iraq, while the value of taxes imposed on goods by the checkpoints of the Fourth Division has increased.

Both the Fourth Division and smuggling operations conducted by Iranian commanders have contributed to the ongoing increase in the prices of commodities in DeirEzzor.
