Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health, Al-Ameen International Organization launched a package of significant healthcare projects yesterday, as announced during a ceremony held in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Minister of Health Dr. Musab Al-Ali stated that the projects include the provision of dialysis machines, with a portion allocated to Deir Ezzor Governorate, in addition to the rehabilitation of several health centers and the establishment of a physical therapy center.
Dr. Al-Ali also noted that the project package includes specialized surgeries such as cochlear implants, corneal transplants, and joint replacements. Patient lists from Deir Ezzor will be submitted so they can undergo these procedures in Damascus and Aleppo until specialized centers are established in Deir Ezzor.
Program Director at Al-Ameen Organization, Dr. Wasel Al-Jark, added that the initiative will also support the establishment of two health centers and a specialized dialysis center, which will be equipped with the necessary tools and supplies.
Additionally, the organization will provide chemotherapy services for patients with tumors and blood cancers, along with advanced surgical procedures, including urological, neurological, and cardiac catheterizations, as well as heart surgeries for both adults and children.
