The Russian Defense Ministry on this day last year 11.21.2015, announced the killing of more than 600 terrorist of Daesh by a long range ballistic missiles bombardment. The missiles were fired from a Russian bases, killing dozens of unarmed civilians in different areas of Syria, and Deir Ezzor province had the bulk of them.

Several areas and villages in the city of Deir Ezzor were under heavy bombardment by Russian ballistic missiles a year ago, which led to the death and injury of several civilians, most of them died in the village of al-Zabari in the countryside of al-Mayadin city in the east of Deir Ezzor.

More than 30 civilians were killed and about 100 others were wounded in the village of al-Zabari at that time after the fall of several Russian ballistic missiles on the village, where whole families died under the rubble, and most of people fled from the village.

The aerial and missile bombardment also distributed on the cities and towns of al-Muhasan, al-Asharah, al-Boleel, al-Kharita, al-Tibni, al-Kharata field, the salt mine, al-Merayiah, al-Bu Omar and al-Kasra, causing the deaths of more martyrs at that time.

The Russian attack on Deir Ezzor province, at the end of the last year, was one of the deadliest attacks on the city, as a result of the distribution of the bombing and its density, in addition to the direct targeting of most of the civilians gathering centers, without focusing on Daesh sites.
