A clash took place, last night, between a group of the National Defense militia and a military security patrol inside the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the clash broke out near the Euphrates River, after members of the National Defense Militia attacked a military security vehicle, when the security patrol discovered that they were smuggling fuel from SDF-controlled areas.
He confirmed that one of the members of the military security patrol was lightly wounded when the National Defense Militia fled from the site.
The clashes between the National Defense Militia and the Military Security in Al-Bukamal have been repeated during the last period due to the smuggling operations of the National Defense Militia.
