A boy was killed and two others were injured as a result of a landmine explosion in the desert of the city of Al-Ashara, this afternoon, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network .
Our reporter said that the boy “Hamza Mishaal Al-Hilal” lost his life and two other children were injured, one of whom is called “Musa Al-Sayel”, whose limbs were amputated as a result of a landmine explosion while grazing sheep in the desert of the city of Al-Ashara, east of Deir Ezzor.
He added that another incident occurred in the Al-Shula area, south of Deir Ezzor, after a landmine exploded in a truck, which led to the driver being injured and the truck burning.
It is noteworthy that these incidents come less than 24 hours after similar incidents, one of which was in the desert of Al-Bukamal, which resulted in the death of two young men from the city of Al-Quriyah, and another in the desert of Baqras, which resulted in the injury of 4 people.
It is worth noting that the Deir Ezzor desert contains many areas that the Iranian-backed militias have turned into minefields, which have become a real danger to the residents of the region, continue to claim lives, and pose a continuous threat to the people of Deir Ezzor.
