The correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network said that the owners of pharmacies in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor raised the prices of medicines before the date of the increase decided by the Assad government.
He added that the distribution warehouses and pharmacies are already stocked with types of medicines, but pharmacists took advantage of the increase decision to achieve material profits.
The increase in the drug, which was approved two days ago, reached an unprecedented level, and is considered the largest in the health sector, and ranged from 65 to 100% for the types of medicines, as the price of an anti-inflammatory envelope, “Augmentin” 1000, the price of 21,100 Syrian pounds, and “Cefixim”, 400, the price of 15,400 pounds. The 500-caliber “Zenad” price is 14,500 pounds, and “Show me” the price is 53,400 pounds.
