ISIS has started recently a systematic campaign to completely cut off internet services in Deir Ezzor and gradually from its rural areas in order to isolote the province from the outside world.
The campaing started with preventing people from having access to internet in their homes,cafes and restricting its use to internet cafes only.
ISIS is aiming to put an end to internet use in the province and on top of this it has shut down several internet cafes recently.The reasons for this campaign is because ISIS is afraid of any anticipated military movements outside or towards Deir Ezzor and also to prevent people from knowing what is going on outside the province .
