IRGC and Hezbollah militia hold meeting in Deir Ezzor

On Friday, September 4, 2020, representatives of the Hezbollah militia met commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in a neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor.

The meeting took place in a Hezbollah milita’s headquarters near al-Anssari mosque in the Harabesh neighborhood.

A source told D24 that the major point the meeting discussed was the separation of Iranian militias’ posts from those of the Iran-loyal militias’ in al-Badiya, and not cooperating with them in field affairs.

The Hezbollah militia changed its headquarters, posts, and checkpoints in Deir Ezzor over the recent days.
