The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia imposed a security cordon on the Iranian square in the Al-Villat neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, according to what a DeirEzzor 24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the militia has prevented the passage of residents and civilian and military vehicles since last night, after the recent raids on Iranian sites in Deir Ezzor.
A private source told DeirEzzor24 that this alert coincided with the arrival of the so-called “Hajj Marouf,” the health official in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, coming from the Albukamal countryside, to inspect the militia’s wounded and transfer critical cases to hospitals in the capital, Damascus.
It is worth noting that the Iranian militias were on great alert due to the recent attacks by Israeli aircraft in the Albukamal countryside and the city of Deir Ez-Zor and its countryside.
