An emergency meeting was held for the leaders of the first echelon of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, last night, at the “Hajj Fadel” rest house in the Al-Qusour neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the meeting included the so-called “Hajj Kamil,” “Hajj Askar,” and “Hajj Siraj,” in addition to Iranian militia leaders in Deir Ezzor Governorate, such as “Hajj Jawad,” commander of Unit 313 of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, and “Abu Zainab al-Afghani,” militia leader. Fatemiyoun and Hajj “Gulzar”, commander of the Pakistani Zainabiyoun militia.
The reason for the meeting is unknown, but it came shortly after the killing of 3 Americans and the injury of dozens by targeting the international coalition bases in the “Al-Tanf” and “Rukban” areas, known as Tower 22, in the Syrian desert on the Syrian-Jordanian border.
