The Iranian-backed militias brought in four communications experts of Iranian nationality recently, a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the experts crossed from Iraq into Syria using Al-Qaim crossing. They headed to the city of Al-Bukamal 3 days ago, after which they moved to Deir Ezzor city.
They have been installing new and advanced communications and surveillance devices for the Iranian militias near the signal battalion.
The source confirmed that the Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor allocated special housing near the battalion for the experts. The militias want to tighten control over internal communications and carry out cyber attacks against targets east of the Euphrates.
It should be pointed out that two advanced communications systems belonging to the Iranian-backed militias were destroyed by the recent American strikes in Deir Ezzor, the first on the mountain overlooking the Harabesh neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, and the second in the vicinity of Al Rahba Castle in the city of Al Mayadeen.
