DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia is seeking to rehabilitate and operate Al-Hamdan Agricultural Airport in Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.

Our reporter said that the Revolutionary Guard militia is seeking to use Al-Hamdan Airport as a helicopter landing pad and a strategic military zone, through the Jihad Al-Binaa Association.

He added that an engineering delegation including Iranian and Syrian engineers visited the city of Al-Bukamal, in company with IRGC security this afternoon, to view the airport site and study the steps for its reconstruction.

Al-Hamdan Airport is located near the military headquarters of the Afghan Fatemiyoun militia, and the latter will be entrusted with the task of protecting the airport later, but the current fears of the militias are the possibility of repeated American strikes.
