The Russian aircraft continue to bomb cities and towns in the province of Deir Ezzor , mainly those located in the eastern countryside. The locals are not even able to extract the dead bodies of the killed and the wounded from underneath the rubble due to the intense airstrikes.
A D24 correspondent said today that there are around twenty bodies belonging to civilians who were killed in Russian airstrikes with white phosphorus in the city of Al-Mayadeen a few days ago. No one is able to pull the dead bodies out of the rubble because of the intense airstrikes and because the city has almost been emptied of its residents.
He added that among the killed are women and children. They were killed near the Siyassiyah area as they were trying to leave the city.
The Russian aircraft renewed their strikes against the eastern countryside today, mainly Al-Asharah, Al-Bulayl and Al-Mayadeen in eastern Deir Ezzor. Dozens of airstrikes have been carried out in the region so far.
