Installation of a medical water station for dialysis at Aisha Hospital in Albukamal

Aisha Hospital in Albukamal witnessed the installation of a water purification plant with regular and approved medical specifications, dedicated to operating dialysis machines, in a step aimed at enhancing the readiness of the college department and supporting the health services provided to kidney patients.

The installation of the station came as part of a grant and emergency support provided by the «9800 Urgent and Emergency Team», in cooperation with a number of Istanbul merchants, which contributes to raising the capacity of the dialysis department and enabling it to receive a larger number of patients.

The project will alleviate some of the suffering of patients, particularly those who must travel up to 145 kilometers to Deir Ezzor to receive dialysis sessions, and the accompanying financial and physical burdens resulting from frequent travel.

The water purification plant is expected to contribute to improving the level and continuity of service, and providing the appropriate technical conditions for operating dialysis machines, thus alleviating the burden of travel for patients and their families, and supporting the provision of health care to them within the city of Albukamal.
