The NDF and the Quds Brigade militias deployed reinforcements from the western Deir Ezzor countryside and the Masrab desert to the desert of the Tabani in order to support the Fatemiyon and Zaynabiyon militias who were attacked by Daesh cells.

This was the second attack in two days, which targeted Iranian and Russian militias in the western Deir Ezzor desert. Yesterday, Daesh targeted positions of the militais near the Kharata and Kasibah oil fields, forcing the militias from the positions and taking control over them.
