The amount of fertilizer smuggled from the Agricultural Bank in Deir Ezzor with fake licenses reached 10 tons per day, according to what a private source told DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the funds for these quantities belong to the director of the bank, Eng. Muhammad Al-Akl, in partnership with influential parties.
All farmers in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor suffer from a shortage of fertilizer, which is smuggled and sold by the bank, while only 12 kg were distributed per dunum of wheat.
