The 17th Infantry Division of Assad’s forces deployed military points on the river strip that extends from the town of Al-Mari’iya to the town of Buqrus, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.

Our correspondent said that the division stopped all night smuggling activities on the Euphrates River, while the river smuggling market flourished on the eastern strip, starting from the city of Al-Mayadin, in addition to the western countryside, starting from Al-Baghiliyya, under the supervision of the Fourth Division.

The points in which the 17th Infantry Division was deployed are outside the areas under the control of the Fourth Division, which manages smuggling operations in Deir Ezzor.
