In a move aimed at improving basic services and meeting citizens’ needs, the work site was delivered today to the contractor responsible for implementing the Mohassan Automated Bakery rehabilitation project, under the supervision of the Syrian Bakeries Corporation in Deir Ezzor and in cooperation with Oxfam.
The project includes installing a modern production line with a production capacity of up to 7 tons per day, in addition to implementing comprehensive civil and technical work that will raise operating efficiency and improve the quality of the final product.
This project comes within the framework of efforts to enhance bread production and increase the quantities available in the region, which will contribute to meeting the growing demand and improving food security.
The rehabilitation work is expected to continue for 65 actual days from the date of site delivery, with the project’s completion being positively reflected in stabilizing bread availability and supporting local sufficiency in the area.
