A few days ago, the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Assad regime issued statistics showing new marriage contracts for Syrians according to the Syrian governorates for the year 2021.
According to statistics, Deir Ezzor governorate topped the list of Syrian governorates with 24,407 marriage contracts, while Suwayda governorate was lagging behind with 4,288 marriage contracts.
DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the rate of increase came after entering the civil registry within the electronic portal, and downloading computer data for all the last ten years in Deir Ezzor.
Half of Deir Ezzor governorate is outside the control of the Assad regime, and most families were unable to register their data in its records.
