Deir Ezzor continues to bleed as civilians wake up to a new massacre by aircraft in the city of Al-Mayadin

At least five civilians have been killed, and dozens have been wounded, due to a new wave of strikes on the city of Al-Mayadin in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

A D24 correspondent said that ‘ At around 8.00 am, aircraft carried out several airstrikes on the Fanash crossroad at the end of the Arbai’n street in the city of Al-Mayadin, leaving at least five civilians dead and dozens wounded.’

The death toll might increase due to the huge number of the wounded which coincides with a severe shortage in medical supplies.

Tewenty civilians were killed last week in indiscriminate air raids on Al-Mayadin, Al-Sabhh and Al-Bukamal in rural Deir Ezzor.
