Well-informed sources told the Deir Ezzor 24 Network that Coronavirus (Covid-19) infected Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps militia’ local fighters at the T2 station southern al-Mayadeen. Most of the fighters were quarantined at the quarantine center in near the Abu al-Fadil al-Abbad camp in the town of Ayash. Other fighters preferred to be quarantined at home. Substitute fighters were summoned to guard the station instead of the infected ones.
Daesh attacks the fighters at the station from time to time . The fighters complain about low salaries amidst difficulty in providing life necessities due to expensiveness, poor medical care, and lack of protection measures against Covid-19 . The IRGC commandership sent the fighters to the hot front lines in the area.
