DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Political Security patrols launched a search campaign on stores in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, and arrested anyone who posted a picture of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.

According to the reporter, patrol officers threatened all shopkeepers with arrest and imprisonment if they put his picture on a mobile phone or even at home.

Shopkeepers were surprised by this strange behavior of the Political Security patrols, and responded to an instruction from the Iranian militias to prevent the circulation of pictures of “Saddam Hussein.”
