DeirEzzor24 correspondent said that members of the Assad forces and some of the Iranian militias affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia began cutting trees in different areas of Deir Ezzor.
Our correspondent added that the tree-cutting operations are carried out using automatic saws, and are concentrated in the Al-Mariya area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and some towns and villages in the western Deir Ezzor countryside, in addition to the cities of Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin.
The most famous elements who cut trees in Deir Ezzor belong to the Republican Guard, with the aim of trading with the approach of winter and the scarcity and high prices of fuel.
