Assad regime warplanes carried out a massacre in the Murat town east of Deir Ezzor

Last night, Assad regime warplanes struck civilian targets in the Murat town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, perpetrating a massacre which claimed the lives of 4 civilians.

A D24 correspondent in the eastern countryside said today that, “warplanes belonging to the Assad regime bombed residential buildings in that town, killing a woman and three children.”

He added that, “the death toll might increase because there are a large number of the wounded, some of whom are in critical conditions.”

This massacre came after one day of the Hajna massacre in which 22 civilians were killed.
