DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Members of the joint checkpoint of military security, state security, and the 17th Division of Assad’s forces are imposing royalties on the people of the city of Al-Quriyah, east of Deir Ezzor, in exchange for allowing them to fill water from the water source in the city of Al-Qurayya, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.

According to the reporter, Al-Manhal checkpoint was previously subject to the National Defense Militia, which in turn forced people to pay similar royalties in exchange for filling water, before handing it over to the Military Security Branch.

The militias and Assad forces impose royalties on the people of Deir Ezzor that go against the law and legislation.
