A member of the demining battalion of the Engineering Brigade of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards was killed today, due to a mine explosion, which he was trying to dismantle in the vicinity of the village of Maizila in Al-Bukamal desert, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.

Our correspondent said that the member was taken to the field hospital, but he died upon arrival at the hospital, and he is from the countryside of Homs.

A battalion is working on clearing mines, combing buildings and the desert, and training the newly joined forces, through live training camps.
