Social media new pages which post news on Deir Ezzor province, mainly Al-Mayadeen city, sadly reported news of the passing of Dr. Nouri Al-Said, a local from Deir Ezzor who operted the Nur Hospital in Deir Ezzor and Al-Said Hospital in the Mayadeen. He used his material and medical capabilities in favour of the revolution. He provided treatement to the wounded during the peaceful protests, which subjcted him to arrest.
Both of the aforesaid hospitals were bombed with all kinds of weapons and despite this Nouri continued operating them, providing services to the needy and the patients. The staff of the hospitals used to work in the basement of the hospital during the siege on the city. He was permanently present, supervising all activities at his hospital despite the lack of medicines at the time.
