An armed attack on buses transporting oil workers in the south of Deir Ezzor

A number of workers of the Euphrates Oil Company were killed, one worker was wounded, and two others were missing, in an attack by gunmen on workers’ transport buses near the Al-Taym field, south of Deir Ezzor.

According to activists, three cars of the Euphrates Oil Company operating in the Al-Taym field, south of Deir Ezzor military airport, were attacked by unidentified gunmen with portable missiles, killing 9 workers, wounding two, and leaving two others missing.

The media of the Assad regime accused Daesh , and said that the organization took advantage of the fog and carried out its attack on the buses.
