Al-Tahtouh quarter inhabitants in Deir Ezzor suffer from sharp shortage of general services, mainly the absence of enlightenment in general streets amid frequent pleas to the amid frequent pleas to the general parties concerned in order to accelerate providing their neighborhood with services.
The neighborhood streets lack general enlightenment during electricity blackout hours as a result of not providing the neighborhood with solar energy supply system like many other streets and quarters in the city.
Hussien Al Abdullah, one of neighborhood residents, ascertained that streets sink in total darkness during electricity blackout due to the nonexistence of solar energy supply in the streets which negatively affects the residents’ movement and their security.
Most of the streets in the neighborhood lack normal electrical current enlightenment during the availability of normal electrical current. Added Al-Abdullah, and that is because lamps were stolen from electrical posts earlier.
