The Al-Bobdran water station in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor returned to work again, after it stopped as a result of the decline in the water level of the Euphrates River and the emergence of technical malfunctions that affected its work, which was reflected in providing drinking water to the people in the region.
The station was restarted after completing maintenance work and repairing technical faults, in a step that would contribute to improving the state of drinking water and alleviating the suffering of residents, by enhancing their access to water.
In the same context, the Soussah Council announced that an organization will begin implementing the service line in the coming days and delivering it to the station, which will contribute to supporting its operational efficiency, improving water access to beneficiaries, and enhancing the stability and continuity of the service.
The Soussah Council affirmed its continued monitoring of the water sector, coordination with relevant authorities, and efforts to overcome the difficulties facing service provision, ensuring an improvement in the level of basic services and meeting the needs of the region’s residents.
