Aircraft, believed to be Russian, carried out airstrikes in the early morning targeting residential buildings in the city of Al-Mayadin, which resulted in the death of at least six civilians and the wounding of several others.
A D24 correspondent said that ‘ The strikes targeted the Jaysh street near Al-Sharq Hospital in the center of the city of Al-Mayadin, killing six civilians, including three children.”
He added that, ‘ The initial death toll is most likely to rise in the upcoming houses since many of the wounded are in a critical condition. The airstrikes have also destroyed many civilian houses and properties.’
Another massacre was carried out by warplanes yesterday in the city in which eight civilians were killed and many others were wounded.
