The Syrian Telecommunications Company in Deir Ezzor restarted telephone lines in the Al-Ommal neighborhood, after a 14-year hiatus, following the completion of equipping and activating a new telephone network in the Al-Hamidiyah Center.
The rehabilitation works included the sector extending from the ice mold factory to the garden located behind the outer section, as part of the plan to rehabilitate and develop the infrastructure of the communications sector in the governorate.
Residents returning to their homes in the area can now apply to install telephone lines and benefit from the service again, which contributes to improving basic services, supporting population stability, and returning normal life to the neighborhood.
The concerned authorities confirmed the continuation of work on rehabilitating communications networks and expanding the scope of services in areas that need to be restarted and developed, to meet the needs of citizens.
