As part of the “Guide Me” initiative, the Directorate of Wounded Affairs in the Eastern Region, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the Syrian Forum, inaugurated a training camp for war wounded in Deir Ezzor Governorate. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and integrate them into the labor market.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Deir Ezzor and a number of local officials and stakeholders. The importance of such initiatives in supporting war wounded and empowering them to become self-reliant and build stable professional futures was emphasized.
The camp includes a specialized training program in the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), aimed at developing the participants’ technical skills and enhancing their readiness to enter the job market, in line with the demands of the current era and the digital transformation.
This step comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership between government institutions and civil society initiatives, contributing to providing practical support for war wounded and improving their economic and social opportunities.
