ISIS announced today in a video declaration that over 30 soldiers from the regime’s forces were killed in the latest battle attempt to control thorud mountain, which overlooks the military airport base. While numerous social media pages, that are pro-regime, posted obituaries of Colonel Tayseer Younes Wanoos. The colonel hails from the town Misyaf in western Syria. It should be noted that this later battle was announced by ISIS and was able to take over numerous battle positions near the military airport, yet later pulled out hours later. The military units left in the airport later launched numerous rockets containing poisonous gases to prevent ISIS from returning.
