The Mukhtar militia in Deir Ezzor city seized a number of houses in the Kanamat neighborhood and the neighboring eastern neighborhoods, according to the DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.

He said that the militia seized these houses with the aim of stealing their belongings, knowing that they are fully furnished, but the aim is to demolish the houses and steal building materials from them.

Al-Mukhtar is a local militia in Deir Ezzor affiliated with the Air Force Intelligence, led by businessman “Muhammad Juma Al-Mukhtar” and known for its suspicious activities that include looting homes and arms trafficking.
