The quantity of wheat supplies in the three regime centers, the Euphrates in Deir Ezzor, Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal, amounted to only 30,000 tons, according to a special source for the Deir Ezzor 24 network.
The source said that the process of supplying wheat to the centers is in its last days, as it was estimated that the wheat product from the cultivated area of 2,200 hectares is 66,000 tons, which is equivalent to more than double the amount of wheat received by the centers so far.
The decrease in supplies is caused by the storage and smuggling of wheat by “Iranian pilgrims” and Baath Party influencers, and security branches, to the State of Iraq, where the price of one kilo exceeds 5,000 Syrian pounds, while it does not reach half of this amount at best in Syria.
