Girls from Deir Ezzor have launched an initiative to distribute clothes to needy women and girls in the city’s neighborhoods, according to a correspondent for the DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that this is the second initiative the girls have implemented, collecting clothes and distributing them to widows and orphans in Deir Ezzor.
Some of the organizers of this project said that they are distributing abayas to girls, targeting the poorest families in the almost completely destroyed neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor. They bring these black abayas, which are considered girls’ clothing in the eastern region of northern Syria due to their low price and the fact that they are made there, compared to their prices in Deir Ezzor.
One of the organizers of the project told the Deir Ezzor 24 Network that the next phase will involve preparing summer clothes for children and distributing them to families in all neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor via mobile vehicles, which will be delivered to their homes.
