An Iranian delegation arrived last night at the Deir Ezzor military airport, and was received by a number of officials of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, a private source told a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that both the Iranian “Amir Abbas”, who holds the position of defense minister in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Deir Ezzor, and the so-called “Hajj Radwan”, the security official in Deir Ezzor, were receiving the delegation.
He added that the delegation includes Iranian experts who are expected to head towards the phosphate mines in the Khneifis area in Hama countryside.
A number of news agencies had touched on the issue of Iran’s extraction of uranium from phosphate mines in Syria for the manufacture of yellow cake.
