On the 29th of last month, June, an incident shook Deir Ezzor city, when the child “Ahmed Amjad Abed al-Mulla Khalaf” hanged himself at his home, Deit Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
In the details, our correspondent said that the child Ahmed hanged himself because his math exam for the ninth grade was difficult. Ahmed is known for being one of the top students in his school, but the difficulty of the questions and the exam stress made him leave the exam room without answering the questions, because of which he hanged himself on a tree in his home in al-Dahiya neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
This incident is the first of its kind for a child to hang himself due to exams in Deir Ezzor province in decades.
