On Thursday, an 8-years-old child died, his 7-years-old sister was wounded, in a house fire that occurred in the Kharbat Yass village in the countryside of Al-Hasakah. The fire was caused by the explosion of a ganister.
A local source in the National Hospital of Al-Hasakah reported to Asu Network that 70 percent of the body of the wounded child has been burned and that she is in an urgent need to be transported to Damascus since the hospital does not have the capability to deal with such a situation.
It should be noted that the two victims are children to deceased parents from the province of Deir Ezzor. After the death of their parents, they moved to Al-Hasakah province to live with their grandmother.
