The Raqqa Health Directorate recorded 64 emergency cases among high school students during the first day of exams, most of which resulted from the tension and psychological stress accompanying the exam atmosphere, according to the head of the ambulance and emergency system, Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Khalaf.
Al-Khalaf explained that the medical teams dealt with all cases immediately inside and around the examination centers, without recording any serious cases or the need to transfer students to hospitals, stressing that the speed of response helped students complete their exams normally.
He pointed out that the Health Directorate has raised the readiness of the ambulance and emergency system as part of a special plan to monitor exams, by distributing 10 ambulances equipped with medical personnel near exam centers to ensure rapid intervention when necessary.
Al-Khalaf stressed the continuation of the state of medical alert throughout the examination period, with a focus on providing health and emergency care to students and ensuring a safe examination environment that contributes to reducing the effects of stress and psychological pressure during the examination period.
